Duration: February-July / August 2026
Renumeration: $50/hour
Reporting: Project Manager or designate
Time Allocation: 20 hours per week (2 hours per day)
Location: West Moberly Council Building & Online (hybrid)

Job Description
To support, advise and mentor the development team as they assemble an introductory Dunne-Za language curriculum for adults. This position is likely to transition into a teaching assignment beginning September 2026.

Requirements

Primary Roles
1. To provide linguistic support for the curriculum development team. This will include all necessary translation of English to Dunne-Za.

2. To assist the development team in determining what vocabulary lists, grammar points, exercises, activities, tests and evaluations will be included in the curriculum.

Core Responsibilities
1. To work with the development team for two hours each day. The first month will be a set schedule but there will be more flexibility after that.

2. To support the development team and ensure the curriculum content which is developed is effective, supportive and culturally sensitive. This process is designed to include discussions with Chief and Council, the Cultural Committee and community Elders.
