Salary: $65,000-75,000 annually

About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting Nation members? Join our team as a Member Services Specialist, where you will play a key role liaising between Members and WMFN Council, supporting service intake and ensuring timely and effective delivery of services to meet everyone’s needs.
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring the successful candidate to be a member of West Moberly First Nations or a member within the community. This is an in-person position with expected hours of work to be 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as main point of contact for Members seeking information or access to community services
  • Help Members navigate community programs, applications, or intake processes as needed
  • Coordinate referrals to appropriate departments as needed
  • Track service requests and follow up with both community stakeholders and Members to ensure timely resolution and ongoing transparency with next steps
  • Support registration set up and scheduling of Member-specific programs/events
  • Be main contact for various funding programs, including but not limited to Elders’ Funding, Adult Living Funds, and Emergency Funding

Requirements

Your toolkit includes:

  • Post‑secondary education in social services, administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in social service, community support, or front-end administrative role
  • Experience working with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (in particular, Excel)
  • Experience with various finance, clerical, and budgeting duties including Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Experience working within a First Nation, Indigenous organization, public sector, or community-based employer is an asset
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
